Build a configuration in a few steps:

Basics — Give the configuration a name and a base price. The base price is the starting amount; surcharges and product prices are added on top.
Questions — The properties of the product (e.g. Width, Length, Colour). Each question has answers the customer picks.
Components — A part or product of the configuration (e.g. base frame or headboard), determined by the questions that apply to it. In Mapping you link each answer to the right product.
Rules — Use visibility, availability and inclusion rules to control which questions and answers appear.
Test — Use the Test button to preview the wizard exactly as the customer sees it.

Questions and answers can be used in two ways:

A question can be a property that helps determine which product the customer gets (via a component), or a free, optional addition — for example Lighting or Warranty.
An answer can be linked to a product, or it only adds a surcharge as an addition, without any product attached.
